IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING

General information: Cards are available as shown.
Prices include cards and envelopes which are sold in multiples of 25 only.

Order forms: Use our on-line order form. Be sure to use a separate form for each card number ordered.

Imprint: Name will be printed in the type style, colour of ink and position as shown on our samples. Prices include one line of printing. DO NOT put dashes, commas or other copy unless you want these to appear on the cards. Separate each word by a space, not by a mark.

Cards without name: On order without name imprint, write NO NAME on the order form.

Ink colour: black, red, blue, forest green, emerald green, gold and silver

Special imprints: We can print your logo. Special note: send the artwork thru E-mail.

Envelope imprint: Customer's return address can be printed on the back flap of envelopes as illustrated in the envelope imprint informations below. The address will be printed in the same colour ink as used for the name on the cards.

Shipping: Actual shipping charges will be added to invoice.

SOCIALLY CORRECT FORMS FOR NAMES IMPRINT

1. HUSBAND AND WIFE

Formal:
MR. and MRS. ALLAN DUFFY

Informal:
MARY and BILL KLINE
or
BILL and MARY KLINE

2. FAMILY

As head of the family, father's name always come first. Children's names are listed according to age.

If sender is divorced it would be proper to use:

Note: In a company name the symbol & is correct if it appears that way on the firm's letterhead.

· When used within a serie of names, Jr. is not separated from boy's name with a comma:
BILL, MARY, BILL JR., TIMMY

· If Bill, Jr. is the youngest and appears last, that Jr. would be separated by a comma:
BILL, MARY, TIMMY and BILL, JR.
7. PLURALS

When the surname ends in CH, SH, S, X, Z the plural is formed by adding ES.

SINGULAR PLURAL

JONES JONESES

BERKOWITZ BERKOWITZES
· All other surnames are pluralized by adding S.
Never use an apostrophe in pluralizing surnames.
Wrong: THE KLINE'S
THE KLINES'
· If you do not wish to add ES to the name, as the JONESES, we suggest the use of the surname followed by the word FAMILY:

When ordering... the following is important:

Make capitals and spacing clear as:
DE MARCO -- De Marco -- DeMARCO -- DeMarco

When imprint copy has double names, such as MARY ANN, write DOUBLE NAME below the name to show it is one person.

Example:
TOM, HARRIET, MARY ANN and BILLY
              DOUBLE NAME

Your friends will appreciate your thoughtfulness if your correct address appears on the back flap of your envelopes. You may order your envelopes for any Christmas card selected from this web site, printed with your address. It will also help you keep your Christmas list up-to-date — if you mail first class, undelivered cards will be returned to you.
